This is a loud, fun, crowded German style beer hall so you have to be up for that vibe. If you are, it's great. Good for groups or if you are cool with sharing tables with other folks. Def add the cheese sauce if you order the giant pretzel.

Liked this place. Will come back. Food was probably a bit more fried/heavy than I'd like but honestly everything was pretty good. Came here with a big work group and they have the space to accommodate. Also a cool Irish vibe with lots of wood trim. Staff was on it and very organized. We ordered a lot of food. It was all good. Again, probably a little on the heavy side but overall very tasty.

Listen to me now and believe me later--Schroders is THE BEST German bar, no question! From the moment you step inside, BOOM--you're hit with the smell of delicious bratwurst, the sight of massive steins of beer, and the sound of people having a great time. It's like Oktoberfest, but EVERY DAY! The beer selection? HUGE. They have all the classics--Hefeweizen, Dunkel, Pilsner--you name it! And the food? Come on! The schnitzel is crispy, the pretzels are bigger than my biceps, and the bratwurst? PERFECTION. The atmosphere is incredible--warm, inviting, and full of energy. Whether you want to relax after a long day or get PUMPED UP with friends, this is the place to be. So don't just sit there--GET TO SCHRODERS! Do it now! Prost!

Super fun environment. Reminds me of being in Munich for Oktoberfest. Came here for a Big Game Luncheon (Cal/Stanford rivalry football game). Food was excellent, bar service was great and overall vibe was very fun! It's in the heart of downtown San Francisco and has been here for as long as I can remember! Definitely check it out - even more fun with a big group!

I associated this place with being a bar and serving beer. Little did I know it was also a restaurant. And...they have lunch specials. The place is huge and has an old-fashioned feel. I've been here for lunch a few times, and they have an easy-to-decide menu (mini prix-fixe style). The food is surprisingly delicious. I am looking forward to coming back for dinner to explore the menu in depth. Service was friendly and efficient, two attributes I really appreciate when dining out for lunch.

Liana was so fun, kind, and provided thoughtful service. We showed up for happy hour and I'm glad we did. The space is beautiful with large light fixtures. It looks like a beer hall, simple decor with lots of seating. We got seated and ordered a round of beer. The Oktoberfest was so good. I'm glad I tried this beer on draft. We also got some snacks. I am so glad I ordered a pretzel with the beer cheese (+$3). It was delicious, hot, and crusty. The beer cheese was incredible! I'll be back for more tasty treats.

Few things beat a beer at Schroeder's. Add in a pretzel and it's like magic. And a burger? Then life is grand.

When it comes to Oktoberfest, German culture revolves around dancing, music, and dressing up traditional clothing like lederhosen and dirndls. I like how women, especially barmaids, look very cute in their dirndls! That just makes me feel like staying longer and enjoying my carefree time. But no matter where life takes me, my focus shall mostly be great food and drinks. At Schroeder's, I been wanting to try a huge dish size pretzel. That'll be plenty of carbs to burn. Perhaps a stein or glass booty filled beer? Too much alcohol content to finish well enough to make me dizzy. Therefore, I'm modest enough to choose midsize meals and non-alcoholic beverages. But wait! Here's what's new. Schroeder's finally add some vegan options, even during Oktoberfest! Now everyone with different taste buds are vilkommen here. I'll be more than glad to come to Schroeder's again for traditional German food. Last year, I seen few of the familiar faces from Friends Like Me of the ARC. There's nothing better than having a whole lot of people during events.
